You told me you cared, that you’d stand beside me, and I’ve been through so many things without you that you promised I wouldn’t have to go through alone. Why can’t you support me even now?

1. Dye hair blue or purple
2. Pierce something….or multiple things
3. Get a new tattoo…or tattoos
4. Somehow explain to my parents, yet again, that nothing is really that permanent
5. Get my own place…no roomies.
6. Don’t break down.

Sometimes we torture ourselves to see if we could survive it. Sometimes we do it to prove that we could still feel, even if it is just pain. But some of us aren’t made for that kind of masochistic self-deprecation. Those people aren’t cut from the same cloth. You see, those people still have a chance.
